bird remote control - socket unexpectedly closed

Hi!

We are remote controlling a bird daemon using a unix domain socket. We
have stumbled into an issue where it looks as bird closes the socket
(application gets POLLHUP). Any known issues around this area? The
pplication and bird daemon continues to run after this happens, but the
socket is down.
