Fwiw: The "IP on bond works but on VLAN on top of bond doesn't"
reminds me of a regression in the Linux Kernel between 5.8.x and
5.9.y(?) or 5.10.z (unsure about the minor version).

If I remmber correct it had been fixed at least in 5.10.4.
