Hi ,

Bird support the configuration of efault bgp_local_pref. In export filter, this attribute can also be reconfigure.

default bgp_local_pref number

A default value for the Local Preference attribute. It is used when a new Local Preference attribute is attached to a route by the BGP protocol itself (for example, if a route is received through eBGP and therefore does not have such attribute). Default: 100 (0 in pre-1.2.0 versions of BIRD).

Thanks

Arvin

Hi All,

According to RFC1930, the AS number 64512 to 65535 are reserved for private, I cannot find the implementation for checking private AS number in BIRD, anybody know it or it’s lost in BGP ?

RFC1930
[ https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc1930.html#section-10 | 10 ] . Reserved AS Numbers
The Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA) has reserved the
following block of AS numbers for private use (not to be advertised
on the global Internet):
64512 through 65535

Thanks

Arvin
