Hi,
I see that the second commit (https://gitlab.labs.nic.cz/labs/bird/commit/7c4a8007255403d046d7e909f710f0b1ed1791b1) applies to 1.4.0 and possibly earlier. Is that function truly unused? At a first glance it occurs a few times in the code.
