Memory seems to grow endless

Hi,
Morning at 09:54 (GMT+2)
root at srtools:~# birdc
BIRD 1.2.4 ready.
bird> show memory
BIRD memory usage
Routing tables: 12 MB
Route attributes: 4592 B
Protocols: 34 kB
Total: 12 MB
Memory consumption has been multiplied by 480 in less than 24 hours.
I guess this is not a normal behavior isn't it ?
