Bird and memory consumption

Hi,

How much memory the BIRD can eat?

At startup (29Feb) it about 450Megs.
Today:
  PID USERNAME  THR PRI NICE   SIZE    RES STATE  C   TIME   WCPU COMMAND
  2385 root        1  44    0   843M   843M select 2  26:42  0.78% bird

The "configure" command is applied one time per day.
