While you are at it: I do get this kind of syslog messages:

Jan 18 09:30:22 pollux bird: Bad OSPF packet from 10.1.1.2 -
authentification failed

Mostly they appear sporadically and disappear again, sometimes they
become persistent and bird needs to be restarted.
Bird version is 1.0.11.
